Solitary of My Own Mind

Who am I without you?

When I think of you…
I think of me…
When I think of me…
I think of you…

For far too long, I’ve attached myself to you, tying fragments of my soul to your very existence. I became nothing without you. Your name became synonymous with my own, both of our names resonated the same wavelength, beating, moving as one. Well, that was to me.

I could never pin point what you meant to me. All I knew was that you were meant to be a part of me. You filled an unforeseen void within me that I never knew existed. But now your name whispers a cacophony of lyrics to a melancholic song. A song that creates rifts within my being. What am I to do without you, my homologous pair… There will not be another like you. The question lies, will this world, this life be livable without you presence that erupted joy within me?? Or will you forever me the adjacent pendulum and moves me side to side with a force that is unknown??
